❗ Why This Matters
The new Big Billionaire Bill shifts trillions in tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy—while cutting vital programs like Medicaid and SNAP, threatening rural hospitals, and hurting our most vulnerable families.
This isn’t just bad policy. It’s a crisis for working people. Let’s show the world what compassionate resistance looks like.
✅ RSVP now and bring a friend! Together, we can turn outrage into outreach, and protest into people power.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. We expect hosts to ensure all participants in your event uphold this commitment. Rage Against the Regime SEVIERVILLE
Hosted By: Indivisible Sevier Co.
August 2, 2025
- 200 forks of the River Pkwy. at intersection of Bruce, Sevierville, TN 37862
registerWE THE PEOPLE ARE PISSED. This isn’t just a moment, it’s a movement. A strategy. Rooted in nonviolence. Driven by community. We’re not asking for permission—we’re demanding change.
August 2nd is our day. A National Day of Action where communities across the country unite under a shared purpose: Rage Against the Regime. Together, we channel our anger into focused, disciplined, and relentless action. This is not chaos, it’s coordinated resistance.
Our rage is not reckless. It’s righteous. It’s bold. It’s unyielding. This movement is peaceful, but it is not passive. We show up with clarity, courage, and conviction to confront injustice head-on.
Now is the time for all of us to act. History teaches us that when just 3.5% of the population engages in sustained, peaceful protest, oppressive regimes fall. (Google it: “3.5% rule: How a small minority can change the world.”)
We’re building that momentum, together. Let’s make history. Let’s make noise. Let’s make change.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

Voices from the Mountains – Sevier County Indivisible Team, proudly present Good Trouble Lives On, a national day of nonviolent action to confront the Trump administration’s ongoing attacks on our civil and human rights, and to send a clear message: in America, the power lies with the people.
On July 17, the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing, we’re taking action in Sevierville and in communities across the country to defend our democracy and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble.
From dangerous voter suppression efforts like the SAVE Act to the criminalization of protest, we’re witnessing a coordinated assault on our rights. But we are not backing down. Like John Lewis, we believe in the power of collective action, and we’re rising up to prove it.
Good Trouble Lives On is more than a protest, it’s a moral stand. A continuation of the movement Congressman Lewis helped lead, and a new chapter in the ongoing fight for justice, dignity, and freedom for all.
Our Commitment to Nonviolence
At the heart of Good Trouble Lives On is a deep commitment to nonviolence.

Hosted By: Indivisible TN
June 14, 2025
6:00 pm
- 9:00 pm
- John Tarleton Park 3201 Division St Knoxville, TN 37919
Save the date! We’re having a big event in Knoxville on 6/14 as part of No Kings Day.
This will not be our usual protest style event, although you are more than welcome to bring your protest signs if you would like. We’re throwing a carnival themed (kick out the clowns) community party to celebrate everything Trump hates. Our goal is to take attention away from him and put it on We the People right here in our community. Yes, this is a family-friendly event! There will be activities for the kids (we got a bounce house!). We will have speakers and performers. Our goal is to connect our community with as much diversity as possible and give back to each other.
We will be setting up a meal ticket donation system called Pay-it-Forward, where you can donate to help pay for someone’s meal. We are hoping to provide a meal for everyone that day so everyone can comfortably participate, and no one is left behind. Trump won’t provide school lunches, but we hope to provide a meal for a day and hope it helps brighten someone’s day.
We will also be doing a food drive to donate to a local food bank to give back to our own community.
This whole day will be about connecting, diversity, inclusion, and JOY. We miss the joy!!! Fighting fascism comes in many forms. That can look like protesting, but it can also look like self-care. More importantly, it looks like connection and community. Fascism wants us isolated, scared, confused, broken. We will NOT give in! We will NOT let them take our community and our joy from us.
So please join us and be ready to have a LOT of fun! We are really excited and proud of this event!
Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets! There are limited bleachers for use and there will be some chairs we would like to reserve for individuals with any mobility issues.
Register here!!! https://www.mobilize.us/indivisible/event/781138/
We the People Town Hall – Knoxville
Hosted By: Indivisible TN
May 24, 2025
6:00 pm
- 7:30 pm
- Charles Krutch Park Extension 504 Market St, Knoxville, TN 37902
Community involvement is crucial to any democracy; it is especially needed in times of widespread change and uncertainty. Our representative, Rep. Tim Burchett, has been elected to represent us and our interests. However, there has been a noticeable lack of communication and accountability with his constituents. The concerns of the people he represents are not being effectively communicated, making it impossible for him to accurately represent us. Having Rep. Burchett present at a town hall meeting would provide an opportunity for the exchange of ideas, concerns, and solutions between the people and their elected official. As per a study done by the Brookings Institution, such public meetings can significantly enhance democratic governance and responsiveness (Brookings Institution, 2016). We call on Rep Tim Burchett to attend a town hall meeting in our community so we can directly share our concerns, hear his position, and collectively work towards better solutions.
Bring your protest signs. Bring your folding chairs or picnic blankets to sit on. Most importantly, bring your voices! We will have index cards available for you to write your concerns that will be mailed to Burchett’s office.
